App conditions
Terms of Use
Effective: 2026-07-29
These terms apply to eggsoyrice apps that link to them and are distributed through the Apple App Store. By downloading or using a covered app, you acknowledge and accept these terms and the applicable Apple terms.
These website terms are not a separate custom end-user license agreement that replaces Apple’s Standard EULA. Apple’s Standard EULA governs the app license; these terms add conditions for using eggsoyrice apps within that framework. If they conflict, Apple’s Standard EULA controls to the extent permitted by applicable law.
1. Apple Standard EULA
The license for each covered app is subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. It addresses the scope of the license, the roles of Apple and the developer, and third-party beneficiary terms.
2. Permitted use
You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for lawful purposes on devices allowed by Apple’s Usage Rules and Standard EULA.
No ownership of the app or related content is transferred to you.
3. Responsibility for local data
Data used by a covered app may be stored only on your device. You are responsible for protecting access to the device, maintaining any backups you need, and preserving necessary data before deleting the app or changing devices.
eggsoyrice cannot recover or restore local data it does not hold.
4. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- use the app in violation of law, Apple’s terms, or another person’s rights;
- copy, modify, redistribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the app, except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- interfere with or attempt to bypass the app’s security, normal operation, or another person’s use; or
- remove or misrepresent intellectual-property notices belonging to eggsoyrice or a third party.
5. Intellectual property
Rights in the app, its design, text, graphics, and related materials belong to eggsoyrice or the relevant rights holder. No rights are granted beyond the license expressly provided by these terms and Apple’s Standard EULA.
6. Apple and third-party services
Apple’s terms apply to the App Store, payments, refunds, device functions, and Apple services. If an app interacts with a third-party feature or service you choose, that third party’s terms and availability may also apply.
eggsoyrice does not control the handling, modification, or discontinuation of services operated by Apple or a third party.
7. Updates and availability
eggsoyrice may update an app to reflect changes in functionality, safety, compatibility, or legal requirements. eggsoyrice does not promise that an app will remain available on every device or operating system or that any feature will be maintained permanently.
Whether you receive an update or can continue using an app may depend on Apple’s distribution process, device compatibility, and applicable law.
8. Warranties and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available.” eggsoyrice does not promise that it will always be uninterrupted, fit every purpose, or be free of errors.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, eggsoyrice is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app. This limitation does not apply to intentional misconduct or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or liability that the law does not permit to be excluded or limited.
Nothing in this section limits warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that mandatory law provides to you.
9. Termination
Your license may terminate if you materially breach these terms or applicable Apple terms. On termination, you must stop using the app and delete copies in your possession.
Provisions that by their nature should survive—including intellectual-property, liability, and governing-law provisions—continue after termination.
10. Changes to these terms
eggsoyrice may change these terms to reflect changes to an app, the law, or service conditions. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date, and any separate consent required by law will be obtained.
Where continued use alone is not legally sufficient consent, it will not be treated as consent by itself.
11. Governing law and consumer rights
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protections, jurisdiction rules, and other rights under the law of your place of residence remain unaffected.
Matters covered by a separate governing-law or jurisdiction provision in Apple’s Standard EULA are also subject to that provision.
